A Little About Me

My terms are quite simple. There are no contracts, a handshake is all I need. I create basic to moderate complex web sites mainly using HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VBS.

I first started writing HTML code in 1995 when it was in version 2, the current version is 4.01 which will soon be replaced with version 5.0. The design tools and elements available today are much different than the simple ones available then.

Over the years I have created web sites for individuals and small companies while watching the Internet and it's related technologies grow at a rate so fast it was almost impossible to keep up with.

My most recent work was to redesign RippinH2O.com which has been my "Labor of Love" for the past eight years. I check all my work with the W3C Validator (see the bottom of this page) to ensure my code is written properly, this is a step many designers overlook. Poorly written code can result in the content not being displayed properly and cause the search engine robots to send back bad data about a web site ultimately lowering the rankings with the search engine.
